IOSH Safety Health and Environment for Construction Managers

There are a lot of dangers present in a construction site. These hazards do not just put construction workers at risk but also unsuspecting bystanders or people in the surrounding areas.

It is estimated that 60,000 workers die on these sites every year. On top of this, companies spend over €2.38 trillion annually on construction-related accidents, sicknesses and deaths.

Studies show that many of these accidents are preventable when businesses observe good construction management standards. This includes having a competent construction manager.

The IOSH Safety Health and Environment for Construction Managers course provides managers with the training necessary to ensure the safety of the construction site for the workers and people around the area. This programme teaches them the the proper way of setting up the construction sites, proper inspection and management of the equipment used and best ways to prevent accidents, amongst others.
