IOSH Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP)
When constructing a building, several hazards may be encountered. Accidents, whether minor or major, may also happen.
To lessen the chances of accidents happening, safety measures should be planned way before the construction begins. Ideally, the overall safety of the construction project should be tackled during the design process. This is where the critical role of the Project Supervisor of the Design Process (PSDP) becomes evident.
The PSDP may be an individual or an organisation. The PSDP is responsible for ensuring that design-related hazards or risks are minimised or eliminated. The individual or organisation is also tasked to coordinate the work of the designers to make sure that safety isn’t compromised.
iSafe is licensed to offer the IOSH Project Supervisor Design Process. The course is compliant with all PSDP legislations as stated in the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.
